We are delighted to inform you that your video entry titled What Should Be Done has been selected as one of the top five entries in the Citizen Ambassadors to the UN video contest hosted on the UN channel on YouTube. Congratulations!
The video contest was a great success. The four UN videos calling for entries were viewed over 136,000 times and we received over 400 video responses from all around the world. The top 5 entries were selected by a panel of UN representatives from different departments and offices at UN Headquarters in New York, who rated the entries based on relevance to the challenge, creativity, merit and added value. We thank you for submitting a creative and heartfelt entry which truly stood out amongst the multitude of video responses we viewed.
As promised, we would be honoured if you would attend the UN Day Concert as our VIP guest. The concert will be held at UN Headquarters in New York on Friday, 23 October 2009. We realize this invitation is on short notice, but can promise you a very special visit which will include a VIP tour of the UN, a pre-concert reception with the performing artists and guests, and of course VIP seating at the concert, which will be held in the General Assembly Hall in New York.
